TOYS2WISH4.COM LAUNCHES WISHLIST SERVICE TO SIMPLIFY GIFT GIVING

Glastonbury, CT, April 29, 2003. Toys2Wish4.com, a division of Connecticut-based toy store chain Creative Toymaker, today announces a new Wishlist / Gift Registry service designed to simplify gift giving and allow parents to eliminate unwanted and inappropriate gifts.

Parents can create a Wishlist by using convenient “Add to Wishlist” buttons found on Toys2Wish4.com.  They can also visit one of Creative Toymaker’s retail locations and select gifts from the store.  Once the gift list is created, gift givers may view the gifts on-line and make a purchase.  The Wishlist takes the guesswork out of gift guying and makes it fun and convenient.  (See sample wishlist at http://www.felicite.com/registry.cfm?demottwf-9513).

“A Wishlist is perfect for parents who are selective about the toys their kids play with,” says Jan Lawrence, President.  “It also makes it easy for gift givers to pick out the perfect gift.”

Unlike conventional Wishlists or gift registries, the Toys2Wish4.com Wishlist has a unique Partial Purchase feature that allows gift givers to make a partial contribution towards any gift.   The system automatically keeps track of partial payments, and completes the order only when the full price is collected.  This way, several gift givers can share the cost of an expensive gift.

“This feature allows parents to register a really nice toy that might be more than what a single gift giver would want to spend,” says Lawrence.  “With Partial Purchase, several gift givers can get together and share the cost without having to call each other to figure out how much each is going to pay.”

The Wishlist also has many features to help with the celebration.  For example, pictures can be posted and shared in the on-line photo album.  Each Wishlist comes with a personal web page where Parents can post information about any parties or celebrations.  To protect a child’s privacy, access to the Wishlist can be limited with an optional guest password.

Toys2Wish4.com selected Felicite.com (http://www.felicite.com), to develop and operate its Wishlist.  Felicite.com is a leading provider of private label gift registry and wishlist systems for on-line and off-line merchants.  Its system can be easily integrated into a merchant’s web site, retail store or catalog, and has a number of unique features such as partial purchase and photo album.

“Their system works well with Yahoo Store and saved us the money of developing our own system,” says Lawrence.  “Saving money on the gift registry means we can pass the savings to our customers and continue to offer a superior level of customer service.”

Creative Toymaker was founded in 1976 in Bethel, Connecticut to provide the best toys and service at a good price.  In addition to its online store Toys2Wish4.com, it operates four retail locations in Bethel, CT; Farmington, CT; Glastonbury, CT; and Danbury, CT.
