Seattle, WA, February 11, 2002. Ambient Art (www.AmbientArt.com) today launches a new gift registry service designed to simplify gift giving and avoid unwanted gifts. (See demo registry at http://www.felicite.com/registry.cfm?demoaa-7069). Ambient Art offers a line of distinctive hand made paper art lamps that provide soothing lighting for your office and home.
Convenient Add to Registry buttons on Ambient Art’s website makes setting up registries a snap. Gift givers can then log in to the registry and make a purchase on-line. If they are not on-line they can call a special toll-free number to order by phone. All purchases are automatically removed from the gift list to avoid duplication. The registry can be used for a variety of events such as weddings, birthdays, house warming, etc.
Unlike conventional gift registries, the Ambient Art gift registry has a unique Partial Purchase feature that allows gift givers to make a partial contribution towards any gift. This way, the cost of expensive gifts can be easily shared. The system keeps track of contributions and updates the outstanding balance in real-time.
“Our lamps make excellent wedding or baby shower gifts,” says Kate Kilpatrick, owner and lamp designer. “With our gift registry service customers can select something unique and memorable for their wedding, baby shower or any other special occasion.”
The Ambient Art gift registry also contains many other useful features such as an on-line photo album, RSVP service, E-notification system and free announcement page. For example, you can use the E-Notification system to let your friends know about your registry; post a picture in the on-line photo album to share with friends; use the on-line RSVP system to simplify the RSVP process. To maintain privacy, each registry can be protected with an optional guest password.
Ambient Art selected Felicite.com (http://www.felicite.com), to develop and operate its gift registry system. Felicite.com is a leading provider of private label gift registry systems for on-line and off-line merchants. Its system can be quickly integrated with a merchant’s retail store, web site or mail order operations, and is the only system with the Partial Purchase feature.
“We liked the extra features offered by the Felicite.com system, such as Partial Purchase and photo album. The easy to use interface makes the gift registry process more convenient for our customers. By using their system we can take advantage of their experience in operating gift registries for a variety of different merchants,” says Kate Kilpatrick.
Ambient Art was founded by Kate Kilpatrick to supply unique handmade paper lamps that provide soothing mood lighting for home and office. Kate has been an artist all her life and has recently devoted her skills and creative energy to designing these distinctive lamps.
