About Merchants

Felicite is a gift registry network made up of many stores. This allows registrants to add all kinds of gifts to their gift registry rather than being limited to gifts from only one store. Felicite registrants can list three kinds of gifts.

  1. Gifts from Member Merchant Stores
  2. Gifts from Approved Merchant Stores
  3. Cash Gifts

What's an Approved Merchant?

There are certain advantages to registering gifts from our Member Merchants - For example, they have all installed "Add to Registry" buttons on their web site to make it easier for you to add gifts; and have agreed to accept orders from us automatically, which means your orders reach them much faster - you are not limited to our Member Merchants.

  • Approved Merchants: We are very picky about who we send orders to, and only send orders to Approved Merchants who have passed our rigorous customer service standards. Registrants add gifts from Approved Merchants by filling out the Gift List form within their Registry. When you use the gift form to add a gift you'll only see Approved Merchants in the Store Drop Down Box.
  • FeliciteMember Merchant stores are listed in blue on the Felicite.com home page
  • Felicite Ordering Department will place orders for Approved Merchants to arrive 1-2 weeks before an event date. If a Registrant prefers Approved Merchant gifts to be ordered as they are purchased by gift givers just let us know - we're here for you.
  • You can still register gifts from any merchant you like by selecting "Cash Gifts" as the merchant. With cash gifts we credit all contributions to your account, and when you are ready, just click on the "Settle Registry" button and we'll send you a check. You can then purchase the gift yourself.

What's a Cash Gift?

"For us it was important to have a 'money wedding registry'. We were not looking for a traditional wedding money tree, or wedding money box.   • Many registrants would rather receive a gift in the form of money rather than physical gift. Felicite lets registrants list items as a Cash Gift. Felicite will collect funds from gift givers then send the Registrant(s) a Settlement Check for the funds collected.
  • Cash gifts are displayed the same way as physical gifts in the gift list. We do not disclose to gift givers whether a gift was designated as a Cash Gift.
  • Felicite charges Gift Givers 4.9% for Cash Gift processing. For example if a Registrant lists an item as a Cash Gift costing $100, Felicite will charge the Gift Giver $104.90 and send the Registrant a check for $100.
  • When a Registrant is ready they can click Settle Registry. Check balances are totaled at the end of each month and Setlement Checks are sent via US Mail during the first week of the month.
  • Use Cash Cash gifts for any item. For example a "Contribution to a Honeymoon Fund" or perhaps a donation to a charity. Felicite will collect the funds, send the Registrant a check so they can make the donation directly.
  • Use Cash Gift for items from local stores or items not available at Felicite Member or Approved Merchants. Felicite will collect the funds, send the Registrant a check s and they can make the purchase directly.
